
Frank has never known a time where he was not completely obsessed with aviation and aerobatics. At the age of fourteen, Frank started taking glider lessons. He obtained his Private Pilot Licence at the day he became eighteen, well before he got his drivers licence.
Frank has now logged over 8000 flying hours. He flew the Lynx helicopter on many Search and Rescue missions and as a flight commander on the Dutch warships. Frank and his crew were the first NATO helicopter ever to make a landing on a Russian warship, the Neustrashimy.
After this Frank moved on to fly the P3C Orion Maritime Patrol Aircraft. This aircraft was mainly used for coastguard missions and counter drug operations in the Caribbean and reconnaissance over Kosovo and Afghanistan. He flew the P3 as a captain until the Dutch government decided to sell them.

Frank is now flying for NetJets Europe. NetJets is the biggest provider of fractional owned private jets in the world. Frank works as a Training Captain/ Type Rating Instructor and enjoys the responsibility and the variety of flying with the worlds leading people very much.

During his flying career Frank has continuously been involved in aerobatics. He has a never ending passion for this type of unlimited flying. Frank flew all over the world trying all the different aircraft. He regularly flies competition aerobatics, but is also a well respected airshow pilot, displaying to large amounts of people what he and his Pitts are capable of.
